The Center for Excellence In Mathematics and Science Education sponsors PRAXIS workshops for education majors at Morgan State University as well as teachers in Baltimore City and Baltimore County Public Schools.

   The goal of the PRAXIS Workshops is to provide technical assistance such as tutoring, mentoring and practice test taking. Workshops are held during the summer vacations as well as during the school year. Participants perform practice tests using web based PLATO software. Follow-up data is collected on the number of participants from the workshops who have passed the PRAXIS I and PRAXIS II examinations.
